Florentine is up next!

I had fun using Stella paper, but was itching to play with some new Florentine paper, too.

My Card Hostess clubs are getting a new stamp set this month, called A Rainbow. The birdie is from this set and the sentiment is from a retired set called, Over the Rainbow.

I stamped the sentiment in Twilight and the birdie was inked in Sweet Leaf and rolled in Twilight. The flourish is from March SOTM, Potential and is stamped in Cocoa on the Florentine patterned paper. The accent border is the backside of the other patterned paper!

The shapes were cut with our Art Philosophy cartridge and I added some clear Sparkles.

All supplies are Close To My Heart.

Butterflies are beautiful!

One amazing thing Close To My Heart did with the new Spring/Summer Idea Book, is include a gaggle of new A-sized stamp sets.

This butterfly is one called: Quick Cards-Butterfly and goes for a mere $6.95 plus shipping and tax!!!!! Yes, those are Canadian prices....the same as U.S. prices!

I inked the butterfly image in Sweet Leaf ink, then rolled the top and bottom in Lagoon ink. I added some Kraft cardstock along with Stella patterned paper. I also stamped one of the flourish images from Potential, Mar 2012 SOTM.

Finally, I added some bling with Sparkles from our Blue & Green Assortment.

The Potential with Stella goes on....

What a silly play on Close To My Heart product names.....but I love it! This is another card using Stella paper and March SOTM, Potential.

The large image, from Potential, is stamped in Lagoon ink on Colonial White cardstock. Just as with my last posted card, I used a mat of Cocoa cardstock and added clear sparkles to this image.

The patterned paper is from Stella and the flourish image is also from Potential. the words are stamped in Cocoa from a retired set, You and Me.

Stella with some Potential!

Once I started using Stella paper and Potential, March stamp of the month, I couldn't put them down!

I will use this card for my Card Hostess Clubs for February. The large image is stamped in Lagoon on Colonial White cardstock. I cut the circle and its Cocoa mat with Art Philosophy. I also added some Clear Sparkles to the image.

Both of the patterned papers are from Stella. In fact, one is the backside of the other! I also stamped another flourish image from Potential in Cocoa, on the patterned base. The sentiment is also stamped in Cocoa on Colonial White cardstock.

I used my sponge to edge some pieces in Lagoon and others with Cocoa ink.

Stella and Mar 2012 SOTM - Potential

This card couldn't be simpler! I started with CTMH's Kraft cardstock for a 5x7 base.

I added a piece of Stella patterned paper, then cut an oval shape with my Art Philosophy cartridge. I also cut a mat from Cocoa cardstock. The sentiment and flourish images are from Potential, the March stamp of the month. I LOVE this stamp set.....it is so GORGEOUS!

I used the tiny dots from Zoology around the sentiment. I also added 3 sizes of Pearl Opaques to the flourish stamped in Cocoa. I edged the entire card and all of its parts with Desert Sand ink, by sponge.

More Pemberley GORGEOUSNESS!

I LOVE Pemberley paper! Just before I cut up the previously shown flower, I cut up this beautiful rose.

I random stamped the entire Colonial White card base with images from Pemberley Workshop On The Go stamp set. I added patterned paper from the kit and Moonstruck cardstock. The sentiment is stamped in Outdoor Denim on Desert Sand cardstock. Then I added twill and Outdoor Denim ribbon; a button and some hemp. I also found some Outdoor Denim brads to add, also.

The rose was cut from the patterned paper. I added some Stardust Glitz to the centre focus. After I cut the petals, I bent them up to show the dimension.

Pemberley meets my Judikins knife!

I cut away to create this card when I first received my new Pemberley Workshop On The Go kit, in January.

The flower is cut out from the patterned paper, then I took my exacto style knife to each petal. After I cut them out, I slightly bent them upwards, then added Stardust Glitz to the ends.

I random stamped Desert Sand cardstock with other images in the exclusive stamp set, with coordinating ink. I also stamped the rope border from the set, but in Outdoor Denim ink. The sentiment is also stamped in Outdoor Denim on Colonial White cardstock.
