Seaside Flower cards

This is my 2nd series of watercolour cards. These flowers are from a retired set and I paired them with current paper package, Seaside.
I started the flowers by stamping the images on watercolour paper with Versamark ink, then embossing with Colonial White embossing powder. I smeared Creme Brulee and Cotton Candy ink on my craft mat, then spritzed with water. I painted the flowers several times...waiting for colours to dry in between, so I could see if I wanted to add more colour for a darker look.

The leaves were embossed in the same fashion and coloured with Pear and Lagoon inks. The lovely patterned paper is from Seaside, then I added some Whisper and Colonial White cardstock. The top border layer is Lagoon cardstock, stamped with the linen image from Assorted Edges in coordinating ink.

The sentiment is from the stamp set that came with our Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge. I added Aqua Dots and Lagoon Baker's Twine, along with some Gold Sequins.

All supplies are Close To My Heart, unless noted.
