He loves me.....he loves me not.....

Well, you won't be pulling the petals out of these daises! That old line should now say....I love me....I love me more! Here is another flower extravaganza A2 card, I created with our Flower Market Cricut cartridge.
For the background of this card, I used my new Tim Holtz Oxide inks. I am just dipping my toe into the mixed media ocean and I wanted to experiment with the "game changer" inks. They are fun but for me had a bit of a learning curve. It was a fun and fast curve!

I cut these gorgeous daises from Raspberry cardstock and the leaves from Fern. The sentiment is from our Workshops Your Way Mother's Day kit...which by the way, is about to retire April 30th to make way for our new Seasonal Expressions. I stamped it with Black Memento ink after cutting the inked piece with a My Favorite Things Wonky Rectangles die.

Flower Extravaganza

So, first I must tell you these upcoming flower card photos have been taken with my cell phone. I was packing the cards up for sale and didn't have time to do my usual camera set up, so I took quick pictures with my phone.

I am FLOWER CRAZY and I love it! I have been using my Flower Market Cricut cartridge more hours than I care to tell you I spend crafting! I get into to full Mother's Day card production starting in April and this is one of the 5 x 7 cards I created.
I cut the Daisy with Sea Glass cardstock and also matted the embossed cardstock with it also. The leaves are cut from Fern cardstock. I was getting low on Lagoon cardstock, so I pulled out my retired favourite, Twilight. I embossed with our Wood-grain Embossing Folder then used coordinating ink to rub over the top. I stamped the sentiment with a retired set and used a MFTStamps die to cut the stitched ribbon. I added a retired gem to the centre of the flower.

All supplies are Close To My Heart, unless noted.

Flower Market LOVE!

If I have not said how much I LOVE my Flower Market Cricut cart, I will proclaim it again....I LOVE FLOWER MARKET! These cards are a take on layouts created by Jennifer Smith, whose work is constantly an inspiration.
I started with Sea Glass cardstock on a White Daisy card base. I added wood-grain paper from Rustic Home Fundamentals, as well as, polka dot Kraft and Gold striped vellum. I cut various sizes of this Amaryllis flower, with Flower Market, from White Daisy and Sea Glass cardstock. The leaves are from Fern cardstock.
I added retired Sequins and Gold Sequins to the centre of each flower. I cut the scalloped and plain oval with retired Cricut cart, Art Philosophy. The second card's sentiment is from Good Thymes! I also added some finishing touches with my Black Journaling Pen.

All supplies are Close To My Heart.
