I have been a little slow to get on the hexagon band wagon.....but I'm starting to get more interested in jumping on. I combined the hexie shape with some gorgeous Laughing Lola paper.
I started with a White Daisy card base, then added some Lagoon cardstock. Then I started cutting hexagons from some left over pieces of these delicious patterned papers from Laughing Lola. I sponged all of the edges with Black ink, then arranged them to suit my eye. I stamped a tiny sentiment with Black pigment ink in the bottom right, then added sparkles. All supplies are Close To My Heart.
Paper: Laughing Lola
Stamp: TLC retired
Cardstock: White Daisy; Lagoon
Ink: Black Pigment
Embellishments: Sparkles; Sparkles Flourishes
Tools: Artbooking Cricut cartridge
Very pretty. I didn't even see the sentiment until I read your post. :) I love hexagons!
