When OMBRE met Babycakes!

I have gone OMBRE crazy! All it takes are 2 sets of Close To My Heart alcohol markers and a great stamp set. "A True Thank You" mini, is perfect!
I started with Lagoon cardstock as the mat for the Buttercup and polka dot patterned paper, from Babycakes. The gorgeous Whisper pattern is matted on Chocolate cardstock that I used our new scallop border punch on.

 I coloured with Creme Brulee and Sorbet alcohol markers, starting from lightest to darkest, to create the OMBRE effect. Then is was Rosewood  embellishments and wooden Trinkets. I also added some Grey Wool Baker's Twine.

 All supplies are Close To My Heart, unless noted.

Stamp: A True Thank You mini
Cardstock: Colonial White; Lagoon; Chocolate
Alcohol markers: Creme Brulee; Sorbet
Embellishments: Grey Wool Baker's Twine; Rosewood Mini-Medley; Trinkets wooden shapes
Tools: Scallop Border punch; Artiste Cricut cartridge
Other: Memento Brown ink

    I finally played with some of this babycakes paper just yesterday. Beautiful card, Nancy. You are on a roll with these lovelies. :)

    The lagoon paper is a surprise, and it really works on this card! I love it!!! What a clever accent to slip in there - so subtle but yet it adds SO much! Excellent work!
